Taught many different levels, from underprivileged P1 children (as CIP) to Primary 5, Secondary 3 and JC level. Total 2+ years of experience with different levels. Although I excel academically I understand that not all children do, and I am very patient especially with lower ability students.

Top student from JC who decided not to pursue university studies and instead pursue a career. My passion for learning and teaching has remained. I excel at efficient study methods to tackle exams, as well as cultivating students' interest in the subject.

My most recent student (Sec 3 Normal Tech Science) has improved from barely passing Science to B. He enjoys lessons very much and has gained both academic and life skills.

Immediately available. Able to commit for the next school year. Timing is flexible, weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends on a weekly schedule. More frequent sessions possible when nearing critical dates.
      Rapport Building
I personalize lessons and curriculum to each individual students' weaknesses and abilities. I consult parents off hours on what they would like me to focus on. I also work around exam and quiz schedules to help them revise the most critical content.
      Keeping Up with Curriculum
With family members still in the school system, I keep myself updated with any change in their syllabi. I utilize ten year series exam papers, and I also review the students' relevant texts on a regular basis.
      As a Good Tutor
I think it is important to impart content knowledge as well as good exam skills. I enjoy learning and I hope to impart the joy of learning and the appreciation of each subject to my students. However, I also ensure that they are able to score high marks in exams by analyzing their weaknesses and how they can increase efficiency and marks during exam.

Patience is also important as not all students can grasp concepts immediately. I explain concepts and revise basic skills to build a strong foundation. I always try to show the students the correct techniques, rather than telling them, to improve their understanding.

I take a lot of pride in my work and I want to see every student achieve their potential.
