From p4 /5 average of 40 per subject to 60s a subject and eventually getting the 3rd in class for P5 science.
Helped a s1 NA student in my home tuition group transit smoothly to S2 Exp in Maths, and eventually getting A1 for both her Emaths and Amaths in O levels.

Understand the students and find a method which is easier for them to apply to their work hence enable them to remember and apply by themselves. Give them sufficient guidance when we are around and ensure they are able to do the work by themselves after lessons. A good tutor should constantly probe the students and help them to think and resolve the problems and not simply provide them with answers. I believe in teaching the students to fish rather than giving them the fish.
