    I believe the number of tutees I have under me and the number of lessons I teach at LearningMAX tuition centre reflects my ability as a tutor.             My lessons are 1.5h long, because that is the optimum length where a student can best absorb information, after which, the learning efficiency decreases. My lessons are generally on weekends, but exceptions can be negotiated. Group classes are conducted at my classroom, which is a 5 minutes walk away from Kallang MRT. Private 1-1 classes are also available.

            Parents: Constant feedback about the child's progress and working in hand with the parents to further help the child, especially in helping with the child stay motivated and disciplined to do his revision. Most students are smart! But they just need the little extra help from us to excel in their studies.

            Students: Understand their worries/concerns/fears and thinking about things from their point of view and design a method to best deliver the content across and enable them to also RETAIN the content, such that they do not need to do excessive re-revision, which can be time consuming.

            I update myself with a library of school's exam papers yearly and pick out the trend of the exam questions and answering techniques. This library of exam papers will also be made available to students when they sign up with me.

              Currently graduating from Murdoch University in 2016, I have always enjoyed teaching. I also volunteer weekly in an organisation established for mentoring primary school students with poor grades and financial assistance from the government. But I like to make full use of my free time and can take on tutoring assignments as well.

              The most successful achievement was tutoring my niece for her PSLE for 1 full year. However, I have managed to pushed her from failing in almost all of her subjects in the beginning of the year to graduating with good grades.
