      Keeping Up with Curriculum
      I will constantly review current textbooks to ensure that I am kept up to date to the curriculum. In addition, it is important that I request the student to share with me their school's curriculum so I can plan my lessons to fit into the curriculum they are undergoing. I can also request to review the textbooks and notes from the students' schools to keep myself up to date constantly.
      As a Good Tutor
      I feel that good tutors should be professional, honest, responsible and most importnatly, approachable. Tutors must be professional in order to impart values and knowledge efficiently onto the students. Honesty is an important virtue to any professional in the society, being honest is crucial to cultivate the trust between tutors and the students/their parents. A tutor must also be responsible for his duties such as coaching the students up to expectations and staying professional through lessons. Most importantly, a tutor must be approachable so that the students will not hesitate to come to the tutor for any academic support they require. This way, the tutor can probably bring out the potential in the students and coach them to attain better grades and learn important values.

Once they have the concepts right, it is good to throw them curveballs so that they can try to apply their knowledge.
