I have been giving private tuition since my poly days for 6 years and I am currently working as a full-time tutor in a tuition centre. However, I would like to use my free time to help other children who are poor academically during my free time. I will use various techniques to suit different types of personality in order to generate the students' interest for those subjects.       Apart from the tuition duration, I do set aside time to explain to parent the progress of the child. I am honest about the progression and if I feel the child do not need any more tuition I too will voice out. I care for children's learning, however I also do not wish to see children being too advance as it will affect them negatively. So far I do not have any problem with parents who approach me. When parents or children ask me for help, I will do my best to help them.

            Chemistry is my primary major in university so I find it really exciting to teach and inspire other people to study Chemistry, my favorite subject.
            Besides, I would teach my students self-studying skills.               My strength is in effectively explaining Mathematical concepts and more importantly instill a sense of interest in the subjects I teach. Currently I am teaching students from both public and international schools. As for English, I specialise in teaching the language to students who are taking English as a second language, who often do not have the language environment at home. I have taken the TESOL certificate to support my teachings. Currently I have 12 students under my wings ( public schools, UWC, OFS, Malborough College Malaysia, Stamford American School Singapore). Most of my students improve gradually over the years but the degree of improvement depends on the subjects being taught. Languages usually take much longer time to see the effects but the positive effects are long term.
