Commitment / Other Details: My students have generally responded well to my method of teaching and this has greatly helped them in understanding their subjects as well as improving their school grades. In addition, it is also my practice to provide constant feedback to parents with regards to their children's progress.

Relevant Results:
- Pri 1 kid learnt within 6 months how to listen and speak basic Chinese in simple daily topics through customized games, pictures, objects, songs, and nursery rhymes.
- Pri 3 Mainland Chinese girl had very poor English comprehension and speaking skills and was a slow learner. Consistent Chinese interpretation during lessons not only helped her picked up pace, but also greater confidence in English.
- Pri 5 student went from B to A for his PSLE English after 1 year of lessons focused on time management and exam scoring techniques.
- Sec 1 student who went from hating English to enjoying the various interactive elements employed during lessons, took his interest further my reading daily Straits Times newspaper.
- Sec 2 student who had previously failed his Chinese achieved C for the subject in his prelims after about 1 year of lessons in building linguistic foundation in areas of grammar, and vocabulary.
- Sec 4 student who had previously struggled with reading and understanding closed passages passed his O' Level Chinese after 1 year of lessons focused on inquiry-based learning, and overcoming cognitive and emotional challenges.
- JC 1 student became more interested and confident in oral discussion of current affairs, personal growth experiences, and social/cultural topics after about 3 months of practical Chinese lessons.

I would aim to create conversations with him/her with regards to their interest, so as to build rapport over time.I would report to the parents on my student's progress after every lesson, and give feedbacks on how he can improve and what is he lacking in.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I would research online for materials related to their topics, and read up a few topics in advance. firstly, I would cover the topics that were being taught by their teachers and check if they fully understand the foundation. After which, if the student is able to provide me with what their teacher is going to cover in the subsequent weeks, I would cover the topics that the teachers plan to cover, so as to allow them to get a better understanding when they are in school
