Rapport Building: I am a simple and objective-driven person who is willing to work towards a certain goal set by students. As long as the goals are realistic and achievable, I will do my best to commit and assist towards achieving it. In order to allow me to help the individual to achieve his/her goal, there must be a trust and relationship established. To build rapport with a student, I must first understand his/her needs, character and capabilities. I will then adjust myself and my teaching methods to help develop the student to improve him/herself. Building rapport with parents is equally important. Parents must be able to trust and understand the capability of the tutor before allowing them to help their child. In order to have this, the tutor must be himself and be transparent with his teaching methodology to avoid misunderstandings in the learning process of the child.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I work closely with school teachers and constantly follow the syllabus document. So long as all the requirements are covered, and with hard work, achieving an A is easily within your reach.

As a Good Tutor: As a good tutor, one must not only give the minimal amount of effort, but to take the extra mile for every of the student. Keeping phones 24/7 available to tutees are a must, to be readily available to lend a helping hand. Commitment / Other Details: I would be able to visit twice a week and convenient time slots would include 8 pm or after on weekdays and 9 am to 3 pm on Saturday and after 3 pm on Sunday. This is based on the assumption that each class will last about an hour and a half to two.

Rapport Building: On my first two visits, I would encourage the students to open up, both academically and emotionally. Though academic assessment, I would be able to target their weak areas and implement productive measures to strengthen these spots. If they need emotional backing, I would be more than happy to sustain them. I am a true believer of the ideology that only if you are free from burdens would you be able to fuse yourself with academic related activities. From my third trip, after breaking the ice, we will get in the act and persevere towards excellence. As far as parents are concerned, I will afford them with biweekly reports on the student's performance and assert appreciable solutions to fix the weak areas.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: The core of the curriculum, especially in technical subjects like Maths and Physics, remains the same. For other improvisations, I seek the help of my relatives and friends, who have been trained in NIE and are working as teachers and the internet. Of course, not forgetting to mention that I will carefully look through the curriculum myself once before seeking their help.
