          As a Good Tutor
          I think patience is one of the most important quality as a tutor. Students tend to be playful and it's normal to find homework a chore. A lot of patience is required to engage a student and make them interested in the subjects. Furthermore, I feel good tutors do not need a textbook to teach. They should be able to teach in a less structured way and adapt to each student's learning style. Most of the time, tutors choose to read from textbooks, which I find completely pointless because the students can do it themselves. Good tutors are should be spontaneous

              Keeping Up with Curriculum
              As I have 16 years of tutoring experience, I am practicing the same syllabus over and over again Everyday. I have 3 tuitions per day and hence I am able to keep up to date with the current syllabus. I also look out at the computer for the current MOE syllabus and I have a habit of going to POPULAR Bookshop to look at the assessment books and textbook in order to upgrade myself to the latest MOE syllabus & no worries as I know the syllabus very well.
              As a Good Tutor
              I pride myself to be a good tutor as Almost all my students improve under my guidance. As a good tutor, I believe not only in improving the results of the subject ( which I am sure my students will improve) I also tend to build a good rapport with all my students but some students I have to be very strict with them because they tend to take advantage if they get too attached to me. Like I had mentioned above, that I can deal with all sorts of kids. Hence I deal differently with different students of different character. I believe that studying and scoring well is enough as a good tutor, I also tend to set goals and listen attentively to my students of what is happening to them and give them my advise on some issues which they decide to keep confidential from their parents. I will always lend a listening hear to the problems of my students too as they might be distracted by some other matters & so do not score well in all subjects. Listening to my students' activities become one of my special attention as this will definitely affect their performance in school. I also tend to whatsapp my students whenever they encounter problems with their school work. They can turn to me 24/7 via WhatsApp and I do not mind running an extra mile for them and I will always try my best to go over as Long as they need my help

                  A good teacher should have solid fundamental concepts as well as a broad knowledge beyond the discipline being taught. Thus, he or she can provide useful inter-disciplinary connections which make learning fascinating and thus engages the students. Good course materials with sufficient examples are also crucial. It is important to prepare lessons in advance and have the flexibility to adapt to the demands of the curriculum and students as the class proceeds. Additionally, technology is a very useful tool and should be utilized effectively. Audio-visual aids like using PowerPoint slides, providing handouts, showing video clips to emphasize important points, and using other software are effective learning tools with proven impacts.

                  Most importantly, a good tutor must be patient, responsible and gregarious to carry out the role of a teacher and mentor for the students.
