Listen attentively to what they exactly need help in and design lessons accordingly will be the way I will approach each tutee.                     Besides teaching students, I would have small talks about their lives and I would also check on their well being besides their studies as a friend. Apart from teaching students, I would have occasional conversations with their parents on the progress of their child and ensure that they are fully aware of what is being taught to their child.

                    I would buy the assessment books from popular especially those MOE certified ones. I would ensure that I am well prepared with the necessary notes and extra practices needed for each lesson. I would also briefly go through each topic before giving practices to ensure that the student is well aware of the topic before drilling them in the respective topics. I have just graduated from Junior College in 2016 and am thus fully aware and familiar with the teaching method and learning style of students these days and what is required of them. I am also hence familiar with the syllabus and the specific approach to each particular subject.

                    I believe that a good tutor should be patient, have love for children, love for the subject, be organised and to be willing to reflect. Good tutors should always be commit to our calling and to care to connect. We should always be patient in the way we approach children at tender ages and while showing love and passion in the subjects we teach, we can also bring out the love and joy in our students while they study the subjects.
