NIE Trained teacher with MOE. Taught in a Primary School in the West for 8 years. Specialized in English Language and trained in the STELLAR Programme. I am also familiar with the PSLE 2015 syllabus. Proven results with my pupils. Dedicated and committed to my job. Believe that the amount of effort put in will show the equivalent result. Conducts lesson in such a manner that both fun and seriousness are mixed. Enjoy teaching as I can bond with pupils. I believe that we can learn from one another as there is a child in all of us.
Am familiar with the O and N Level syllabus (including the current syllabus with changes). Currently tutoring Pri 3 to Sec 4 pupils privately with long-term assignments for over 2 years.
Able to commit for as long as needed.
Available on Tuesdays to Fridays
Will be available during school holidays (except during CNY and in October when I take my breaks). However, if need be, I am willing to work during that time.
Rates range from $45/hr (primary) and from $50/hr (secondary) and will vary, depending on level taught. I believe I can command such rates as I have produced results.
I am also open to group tutoring sessions if a certain number of pupils sign up.
I have taught pupils from both neighbourhood and popular schools, such as Fairfield Methodist, Nan Hua, CHIJ (Primary), Clementi, MGS, ACS(I), CHIJ St Theresa's and Commonwealth (Secondary). I have coached and guided them to do well and improve. A majority of my O' Level pupils scored A1s to B3s and have proceeded to junior colleges.
I prefer to stay with pupils through their educational journey as familiarity leads to a better understanding and I can enhance their learning through a longer committed relationship as their tutor.
