I would like to get to know the students' interests and what they spend most of their time doing. The approach to tutoring will depend on the student's learning style as well.
My personal view of tuition is to plug gaps in understanding instead of babysitting. Students must recognise the value of tuition first before any progress can be achieved.

The SEAB website is a good way to start and be updated on new syllabi.
