As a good tutor, i would check on the student's homework to make sure that they've done all their school work. Many teachers would only focus on their tuition assignments for the child but neglect the school assignments. As a result, they would get complains from school teachers which is not supposed to be the case.
I would also buy quality assessment books for the child to optimize his learning and reward him when he do well.
