I was with SJIJ as a special needs educator for 3 years. One Year in a neighbourhood school. Prior experience was with pre-school children with Pat School House and Newton Kindergarten. Also with NTUC - Read to Reach programmes. Total years of experience in teaching children with special needs is about 6 years. I am also trained in counselling (cognitive behaviour therapy), Autism (with ARC) and Orthon Gillingham( For Dyslexia),
I am dedicated in helping children with mild disabilities especially those who are failing in Math or English to get a pass in their exams. (Depending on how severe the disability is).
I have taught students with Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, Dyspraxia, Intellectual Impairment, Language Impairment, Global Developmental Delay.
