I am a first-time tutor with good command of the English language and keen interest in history and social studies, and am willing to help students improve their proficiency at the above subjects for affordable and negotiable prices. I had achieved good and sustained results in both subjects in school, and am keen to share with students my methodology towards getting such grades.

I am able to start tutoring anytime according to the following schedule:
Monday - Thursday: whole day
Friday: morning to afternoon
Saturday: morning
I am unavailable on Sundays when I go to church.
My commitments are highly likely to be subjected to changes once I start school in August at NUS FASS. Nevertheless, it is highly likely that I will continue tutoring despite commitments in school.

I have a burning passion for English, history and social studies, and hope that students can come to love these subjects as I do. In my opinion, academic excellence is a fruit of love for the subject, for only when one loves the subject is he or she willing to dedicate productive time and effort to it.
I believe that understanding is a better contributor towards academic success as compared to rote memory, and will strive to ensure that students understand what they are learning in school, instead of simply memorising in preparation for regurgitation on the examinations.
