I have taught a few primary school kids mostly taking PSLE on Maths and English. I worked in a childcare centre as a tuition teacher as well as help the kids there with their homework if need be.
I prefer to discuss with the parent on a fixed time schedule where both parties are free. If possible I can do afternoons tuition on some days as my school schedule is pretty flexible.
Rapport Building
Talk to them about their school experiences, their aspirations and really understand what they hate'like about the subject that I'm tutoring them on.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Read their TB or homework.
As a Good Tutor
Punctuality, patient, encouraging, always giving positive affirmations to the children.
