Tuition/Teaching Experience
I have 0.5 years experience in teaching a class of 2 P4 boys. Another 0.5 years of experience in teaching 2 individual P5 students.
I teach using visual methods, using models and mindmaps and I myself am a visual learner. I expose my students to many different question types. Students under me would be exposed to different questions they would face during the exams and I would teach them the different approaches for different questions.
I am able to commit mostly on weekends and on weekdays that i do not have classes as I am currently schooling in NTU
Rapport Building
After every class, I would usually speak to the parents about what I have done for the day. Occasionally, I would add on about how the student is faring, what he/she is weaker at, how he/she can improve and their attitude in their work. This allows parents to be aware of their kid's performance and progress.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I follow the MOE syllabus when teaching, and constantly ensure I am of the same pace as the teacher of the students.
