Tuition Background
NIE Trainee
Tuition/Teaching Experience
Over 3 years plus of teaching experience. Taught as a part time tuition teacher in a tuition center (IQ & EQ education services). Also home tutor to several students, including English lessons for a PSLE student, who scored A* for that subject. I have also taken younger children (ages K2-P2) for subjects like English and Maths. Well-equipped with teaching pedagogies and composition/comprehension techniques from the training I received in NIE.
Can start immediately if schedule allows. If tuition assignments are on weekends, I will be able to commit to the assignment long-term. Weekdays assignments will depend on my school timetable.
Rapport Building
I believe that a child can only score well IF they have interest in the particular subject. Hence, I do not provide endless drills and practices, instead, I go through the work with the aim to facilitate understanding and reasoning. I believe that a child must know why they are learning what they are learning; and work together with the child to achieve their target results.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Since I am a NIE trainee teacher, I am well aware of the MOE syllabus.
