Commitment / Other Details
Able to start immediately. Prefer Saturdays and weekday late afternoons as I am attending university. I would like to commit to a tuition assignment for at least until the academic year ends
Rapport Building
I try to build rapport with students especially by trying to get to know what are their interests besides only teaching them. I also share my experiences during my study years with them to encourage them to not give up just because of a subject that they didn't do well in.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I keep myself up with curriculum by checking with the students and asking about their syllabus as well as checking the Singapore Examinations and Assessments Boards to find out the syllabus outline for the exams that the student will be sitting for.
As a Good Tutor
Good tutors have to be patient and willing to think of other methods to teach the student so that the student can have a better grasp of their concepts. Good tutors need to be able to communicate effectively with their students and know what the syllabus covers.
