Taught Sec 2 Math for 6 months, improved from B4 to A1. Taught Sec 3 A Math for 6 months, improved from B3 to A2. I love Math and I just want to see my students do well in it too!
I am able to start straight away, and will be able to commit for at least the whole year of 2017.
Rapport Building
I strive to keep a healthy and friendly relationship with both my student and their parents! I do my best to understand my students better every time I see them so that I become more of a friend than a tutor. This helps us teach and learn better!
After every few lessons, I keep my students' parents updated on their child's progress and let them know my lesson plans for the upcoming weeks!
Keeping Up with Curriculum
There is no issue in keeping up with the curriculum as I would occassionally visit Popular bookstore to look at the newest assessment books and find new ways to teach my lessons. Also, Math is quite standard for secondary school level so there would not be much changes!
As a Good Tutor
Patience and Passion. Firstly, we have to be patient with our students in order not to stress them out. We have to listen and understand their way of thinking in order to teach them better!
Most importantly, we have to be passionate about teaching! We have to love the subject as well, if not all lessons will be boring for the student.
