Rapport Building
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Personally, I specialise in teaching Math and Science. For both of these subjects, the concepts have largely remained unchanged. Of course, I will look up on the learning outcomes and test syllables before teaching and double-check with my students on the materials that the school provides them with.
As a Good Tutor
A good tutor has to come across as someone who is professional and leads by example. Being confident and clear will definitely help the students to understand and focus better. Definitely, if we want the student to put in effort in their studies, the tutor has to show that he/she is willing to go the extra mile to help them. This can come in the form of giving the student extra time to clarify doubts, getting feedback and making improvements, etc.
