I taught a Pri 2 student for 1 year, we had strong rapport as i strove to make lessons interesting.I helped her to improve and in her final exams, her Maths and Eng grades improved from Band 3 to 1.

Rapport Building
I strive to keep lessons interesting and easy to understand, especially if the child has had a long day of school and is feeling stressed. While obtaining academic excellence is crucial, i also try to cultivate values in the child such as letting her understand the need to put in effort in studying as well as goal setting. I speak to the parents regularly to keep them updated on their child's progress. I also share with them the goal setting process and provide suggestions on how the child can improve.
