I have friends and friends with siblings who are younger than me and generally in the age group that i am looking to teach. I keep myself updated by going through the newest edition of the textbooks and assignments books and also i keep check with the people i know so as to ensure i am updated.
As a Good Tutor
I think a tutor should be firm, yet understanding and that what I try to be. I am understanding to issues and situations that may arise that may deter the students progress and I will try my best to help as much as I can, but I also believe a firm hold is necessary to push students to focus and so that they not get distracted.

    I recently just graduated from NTU and I am now doing full time tutoring. I am lucky to have the chance to have several tuition teachers who have been inspirational and have a lasting impact on my studies which I am very grateful till date.
