I believe in patience, determination and trust when teaching my students. It does not matter how bad they think they fare in their examinations, I strive to encourage and motivate them to achieve the results they have always wanted. Fortunately, more than 95% of my students whom have completed their tuition course with me have shown amazing improvement. This includes students who failed all subjects improved to passing all of them and even winning a Best Progress Award within a year. I have a strong passion in teaching and nothing means more to me than seeing the smiles on my students' faces.

I hold a Dip in Education, BSc with 2nd class Honors, and won a book prize for being the most outstanding student in university Mathematics in NIE.     Travelling dates for 2016 is Nov 25 to Dec 17. My available timeslot now is Tuesday evenings at Bukit Timah. I am dedicated, punctual. I don't like skipping lessons unnecessarily.

    I usually encourage students to read, not just materials given by the school, but outside the school as well. I have a huge and rich source of what I teach, and my room is getting crowded with all these! I do chat with parents about their kids' progress and give tips on how they can help their kids even on the non academic side.

    As a Good Tutor
    Having taught more than 16 years at many places, I have mastered the art of being patient. I love to read, I love to do research, I have a quest for knowledge, thus I have so much to share with my students and apply these knowledge in my teaching. My past educational overseas trips have also enrich me in the area of Sciences. I am a very punctual person and I don't like skipping lessons. I am also very much into sports (also previously a PE teacher) and rollerblading which many students often ask me on how to keep fit.

          To better communicate with the students, I will assist in understanding the student's way of learning and give advice accordingly. As a student myself, I fully understand the struggles they feel in academic work and would like to share exam tips that will allow them to study smart and score better in the exams, and to improve their morale towards grades. With increased confidence and exam-smart tips, I am sure the students would see an improvement in their grades, as well as relationship with friends and family members. I would also contact the parents should i have any queries about the child's study habits and wellbeing, and encourage parents to adopt a positive mindset as they accompany their child along this learning journey. I would also update parents on the child's progress.
          Keeping Up with Curriculum
          I will revise the newest MOE syllabus that the student is studying to gain a better understanding of the various concepts, which will allow me to explain each math problem more thoroughly to the child. Should he/she have any problems with work, I can be easily contactable on my mobile device.
