    I have started teaching tuition since 18 year old. I have nearly 9 years of experience. My strongest subjects would be Maths, E maths, A maths, Science and Combine Science (Phy/ Chem).

    However, months into it, I gained great satisfaction in teaching tuition and see great improvement in my students. I am glad to bring up the full potential of individuals.

    I do group tuition as well due to having too many students of the same level.

    In recent mid yr, 2014, one of my sec 2 students scored 94% in maths and 86% in paper alone, top in whole level, while many others scored between 78-85 marks.           On the first lesson, I will check with the student and learn more about the curriculum taught in school. I will then devise an effective plan that aligns closely with the curriculum so that the student can learn from me without feeling that it is too different from what is taught in school.
          As a Good Tutor
          I believe it is important to engage students and make them feel interested towards a subject, before they can really put in effort and do well in it. Hence, I will do my best to help the student develop an interest towards that subject. That way, subsequent tuition sessions will be more productive if student is more interested and focused.

            As a Good Tutor
            I have been teaching many students during my previous school breaks and holidays and I feel that being calm and patient allow me to guide the students through confusing concepts better. I usually try to find different ways to explain certain concepts until the student get a good grasp of them. I also encourage students to ask questions anytime they want, even through phone or quick texts, so as to clarify their doubts and expand their intellectual curiosity. Due revisions and quizzes are what I believe to help students check their understanding, reinforce the memory and able to apply what they have learnt.
