Likewise, I strongly believing in engaging with my tutees and their family my asking them about their school, and extra co curricular activities. Also I will ask for their opinions on how best they would like me
to approach them n teach them. Also I will occasionally ask their family members to monitor them if possible.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: My uncle is a school principal at Sengkang Secondary School. I will always approach him regarding
the school syllabus and curriculum. Also I will always check with my tutees for the updates on their curriculum.

One of the most common reasons for hiring private tutors is that they are slower or weaker in a specific subject.

Tuition/Teaching Experience: I have tutored primary school children during my JC and University days.

What I plan to do is, for my first lesson, I will review the kid's test papers and see which section is he/she weak at. I will then figure out whether he/she is weak at remembering concepts, answering technique, solving problems etc. From there I will solve the problem accordingly - if he/she have difficulties remembering concepts, I will make mind maps or simple ways to remember facts, if the problem is an answering technique problem, I will make the kid practise more through past year papers, assessment books, etc.

I am available all days as I am currently looking for a full-time job. Once I get a job, I will be able to tutor during weekends.

My forte is in building the foundation of my students in languages. I have assisted many of my foreign students to grasp the English language within a short span of a few months, enabling them to gain entry into prestigious local institutions i.e. Anderson Junior College. Students who struggle with English and dislike the subject were able to improve tremendously under my guidance i.e. from a D7 to A1.
