Rapport Building: On the first lesson, I try to get to know the student first and at the same time, gauge his or her subject ability. This will give me a good idea of how to adapt my teaching for the student. I usually personally report to the student's parents on the child's progress, and make sure to reward them with little gifts for any improvement.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I regularly purchase and teach using the most updated assessment books for my students. From there, I can closely analyze the evolving syllabus and get acquainted with it. I also keep a personal stash and ever-growing stash of 5 year series books which share with students.

As a Good Tutor: Aside from being well-versed and able to explain the subject to the student in a way he/she understands, I also aim to be a patient tutor who encourages students not just to memorize a subject, but to build their morale and interest in it. Tutors also are indirectly personal coaches to the students as we are able to give them useful advice on studying and/or juggling school work and commitments.

I specialise in Maths for lower primary levels (Pri 1 to 4). Current students from De La Salle Pri, CHIJ Katong, Rulang Pri, Nan Hua Pri, Raffles Girls School, Pei Hwa Pri schools.
60% of existing students from parent referral. As enquired by some parents, I do take in K2 for P1 head-start preparation.
I travel to your place and cater to your preferred timing the best I can fit into my current schedule. My charges are $50/hour for 1-1 coaching & $40/hour for Group tuition (max: 3).
