Tutoring Subjects

Rapport Building: I believe I am able to connect with the student well since I have struggled before in my academic journey in the past. However, each time I was able to break through and perform reasonably well in the major examinations. Hence, I will be able to understand what the student is going through since I have experienced it myself in the past.

As a Good Tutor: To be an exceptionally good tutor, one must be able to recognize the importance of having a positive learning attitude and ensure that it is instilled in the student's mental state. This can be done through basic goal settings and the provision of constant encouragements. Without being mentally positive, even if the student has the ability to do well, he/she will sub-consciously sabotaged his/her own performance.
As the cliche phrase goes: Your beliefs become your thoughts. Your thoughts become your actions. And your actions will ultimately become your results. Hence, the very first step is to ensure that the student is confident of his/her own capabilities so that he/she will do the right things to produce outstanding results.
