Commitment / Other Details
I am able to start RIGHT NOW. My greatest strength lie my targetted correction of conceptual errors, and would be able to work students until August this year.
Rapport Building
My approach to students and parents have always been one of open communication and mutual respect.

I think for students to make the greatest progress it is important that they take ownership of their own learning, which means they feel a sense of responsibility and achievement at seeing how their own understanding (and as a result, grades) progress with the hard work they put in.

With parents, this means constant communication regarding the progress of the student, what resources and support they can provide, and what the student might most need at a particular point in time. Even more importantly however, I believe the job of a good tutor is to be receptive to the needs of the student as stipulated by the parents, for that then allows me to best target the needs of the student for the best results.
