Tuition/Teaching Experience: I'm currently in NTU pursuing Accountancy,
I graduate soon in May and have intentions of being a Full time Teacher. I have been teaching for 3 years in total of 20 students ranging from Upper Primary, Secondary, IB (International Baccalaureate) , IGCSE Maths and IP program.

These students were from local schools such as Nanyang Primary, ACS Independent (IP program), Queenstown and CHIJ. International students I've taught students who studied in UWC, OFS, Stamford American International and Hwa Chong International.

Currently also teaching Mathematics at a Tuition Center.

I taught most of my students for a long period of time of 2 years in preparation for major exams, this shows my commitment and dedication as a teacher to help students perform to their utmost ability.

Commitment / Other Details: My specialization is in teaching Maths, Science and Accounting. Over the years I've refined my teaching skills, learnt that patience is key when it comes to coaching a student and the individual needs of every student varies.

My Teaching style for Maths is to put across difficult concepts as simplistically as possible for the student to understand. I would then teach them how to apply into different questions. Speed, accuracy and the approach to tackling difficult Math questions are all important skills to do well. These skills can be trained with time under my guidance.

I scored straight A's for all of my pure Science papers for the O levels. I have previously taught Science at a tuition center. Science concepts have to be understood well. I will teach students how to analyze data results, identify the Hypothesis and come up with a good conclusion. These are all important to do well for Science.

I have previously done Relief teaching at a Secondary school and taught at a tuition centre.

I was also awarded the Edusave Scholarship award for Top 1% in entire cohort in secondary school. Colours award for dedication in CCA extra curricular activities and doing well academically.

Rapport Building: Education Credentials : I was awarded the Edusave Scholarship award for coming in the top 10 positions across the entire level in my school. For the O and A levels , i scored both A's in my Math papers. For English, i scored and A as well for General paper. Parents can refer to my educational certificates for verification.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I'm always updated with the latest syllabus for Primary and Secondary as i've been actively teaching for coming to 3 years since JC. I'm also very familiar with the IB program and IP program adopted by schools such as ACS Independent.

As a Good Tutor: My greatest satisfaction in teaching is when i see an improvement in my students. Previously my student was an average student who was scoring B in her Math exams she then finally scored more than 80 for her finals. Her mom was satisfied with my teaching skills that she referred me to many of her friends children to teach. It brings me joy when both parent and student appreciate my teaching efforts.
