Course Description:
Education is not preparation for life, but it's life itself. While theory is important, I also help students connect it to the world. Being a full-time tutor for more than 4 years, I have accumulated a lot of experience tutoring students from different backgrounds, different schools, different learning capabilities, different characters, different strengths and weaknesses. I am capable of knowing how students think and learn. Every student is unique. By devising new strategy with students, it helps them to grow into a responsible and self-discipline person. My classes are quite intensive, but students enjoy my classes as I will always add some funs into the teaching session so as to make it an interesting and less tedious one. I always believe that this is the most important element in life especially when it comes to study -- if you want to excel in one subject, you must first love it. As I am experienced in coaching all four PSLE subjects (EMSC), and even Sec1-2 Maths and Sec1-4 Chinese, students stay with me for many years and we build strong teacher-student relationship. Materials wise, I will be using supplementary books and test papers from different schools. (Depending on students' strength and weakness, learning notes will be prepared by me to strengthen or reinforce certain concepts.)
Other Details:
Payment wise, it will be advance payment before the start of every four classes. There will be tuition homework assigned to students. However, the amount will depend on the students' workload and progress. I am open for discussion with the parents on the best way to guide their child/children.
