Tuition/Teaching Experience
I am a patient, responsible and committed tutor. I have 5 years of school teaching experience in a junior college where I taught H1/H2 Economics to JC1/2 students. I also have 4 years of private tutoring experience teaching primary school students in all subjects.

During my first lesson, I will assess students' abilities and learning needs. Thereafter, I will design my lessons according to their preferred learning styles. Teaching of content and skills will be incorporated in every lesson.

Students have shown improvement of about 2 grades and a few of them even recommend their friends to me.

Rapport Building
I enjoy talking to students and parents to find out the learning needs of the child. Once I know the child's preferred learning styles, I will cater my lessons according to their needs. I also welcome feedback on my strengths as well as areas for improvement so that I can teach the child even better.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I often keep in touch with current school teachers to ensure that curriculum remains relevant and updated.
As a Good Tutor
Good tutors not only teach so that their students can pass their examinations well but they also believe that students need to enjoy learning and see that their learning is relevant to their daily lives. As a good tutor, I would ensure that learning is authentic for the students and will relate to real life experiences so that they see the value in what they are learning. In this way, they will become self-directed, independent and life-long learners.
