Commitment / Other Details: I am able to commit to tutoring for the whole academic year and beyond if the tutee wants me to continue coaching for the next academic year. I can increase the frequency of lessons per week as needed

Rapport Building: As mentioned, I am working as an assistant teacher, which requires me to interact with children and their parents on a regular basis (engaging children during lessons, explaining school curriculum to parents etc). Therefore, I am confident that I will be able to build rapport with future tutees and their parents so that better communication can be established for understanding the tutee's needs and expectations from the lessons.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I am confident in keeping up with the secondary school curriculum as I am coaching my younger brother on a regular basis. For primary and JC curriculum, I get regular updates from my teaching trainee friends and I will also make sure to google any new curriculum online to keep myself updated.

As a Good Tutor: I believe that every child will be able to achieve his full potential with the right amount of hard work from himself and guidance from teachers and family. I genuinely want to help those who struggle academically and help them untangle any doubts and questions. I will plan each lesson carefully so that I can cover the syllabus at a comfortable pace for the tutee.
