Tuition/Teaching Experience: I will first go through any misconceptions the student has and I will then proceed to teaching the content that the student is likely to be taught soon so that he/she will not face any difficulties trying to understand when the lecture is conducted in school.
In terms of resources, I have personally made my own set of notes during my own revision for A levels. Hence, I will use this piece of resource if the student finds them useful. They have covered content that are relevant and stated in the syllabus. I will also go through the syllabus with the student in order to structure the revision in a more systematic manner.

Rapport Building: Establishing rapport is important as it will allow me to better customize my teaching style to fit the student's need. Hence, I will first find out more about the student in terms of their academic performance, their level of competency as well as their preferred teaching method. I will find out also actively take feedback from the student as well as the parents, to find out if there are any areas of improvement that I will need to make as well.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: Having graduated from JC not too long ago, I am still rather well versed with the syllabus. Notwithstanding, as there might be changes, I will refer to the most updated syllabus that is uploaded on the SEAB website. I will also try to search for past year JC prelim papers and A Level Paper in order to see the trend.

As a Good Tutor: I believe that a good tutor must not only teach well, but also be a good listener. I will actively find out if there are any requests from the student and try my best to fulfill them. If the student has any queries, I will try my best to answer them and if not, go back and do some research before getting back to the student. I will also try to encourage and support the student emotionally, and give tips as to how he/she can tackle exams.
