    Currently, have just started my tutoring experience as a part time tutor. I am willing to be patient with students as well as help them grasp concepts that may not be easy through various methods such as mind maps and finding easier ways to memorise content. I also believe that practice makes perfect and in order to master a topic, one must first expose themselves to numerous problems associated with the topic.

    I would prefer one or two students at a time so that I am able to give my full attention to the students during sessions. I am able to start from June 2016 onwards and I can commit on weekdays and as for weekend, preferably mornings.
    Rapport Building
    I would like to get to know my students for who they are, not only academic wise so that I am better able to cater to their needs and style of learning. Therefore, I would occasionally engage with their parents and ask how they are coping with their studies and also having a short conversation with students after the session on how they find the session.
    Keeping Up with Curriculum
    I would keep myself updated with the latest MOE syllabus by checking them and also finding applicable assessment books or other books that will aid them in their studies.
    As a Good Tutor
    I believe that a good tutor should be able to explain the concepts clearly enough for students to grasp them and as well as be patient with them to ensure that they have mastered the concepts. Also, one should be friendly and open to different methods of teaching for students to be better able to learn.
