Hi! It is nice to meet you and have an opportunity to share a little bit about myself. I am one with many hobbies which involve the cultivating of some important virtues such as patience, endurance and perseverance.

I am a trained teacher in the Early Childhood sector's institute, SEED INSTITUTE, and I have taught in childcare for 3 1/2 years and have been tutoring primary school students for 3 to 4 years now and I have had encounters with children of varying personalities, characters and abilities and have had to alter my approach to the children individually as best as I can.

I am committed to helping and working together with students and their family members so that they can make progress in their studies and assist them in reaching their potential achievements.

As a former teacher, I believe in committing to teaching my students for the academic year and willing to contribute more hours during exam periods. Skype lessons are welcomed in times of tight schedule. As much as possible, I'll keep to the scheme of work of the child's school so that topics are aligned. Able to commence classes asap & December will serve as a good time for students to get a head start.

      Before I start my first session, I will usually initiate the conversation with the parents and student over the phone call and through whatsapp. During the conversation, I will find out what areas that the students need help at and will prepare materials accordingly. I will also ask them to email or WA me a scanned copy of their work as well.

      During the session itself, I will treat the student more as a junior and friend. I will find out more of their student life such as CCA and what are their dream school or careers. From there, I will advise them accordingly based on my experiences

        In 2015, have helped a demised colleague's child to achieve good results for her PSLE in 2015 though my time with her was short about three months. Still stay updated with school curriculum. She has attended Stanford Learning Tuition Centres but due to her short attention span, she did badly in English, Maths and Science. My demised colleague was worried about his child but I promised him before his death that his daughter will be able to make it through her PSLE. Today, she is studying at St Margaret's Secondary school.
