    During my tutoring session, I do believe that each lesson requires a 20 min to discuss and recap. 10 min before the lesson to recap and allow my student to think what he/she would like to cover for this lesson and the last ten mins to summarize the learning points for the day.

    I have friends who are teachers at secondary & primary schools. So my lesson plans and materials used for tutoring are those on par with what the students learn at school.

It is only after I have taken these diverse student factors into careful consideration and planning, will I decide on the type of learning strategy that will best suit the student.

          I am a patient and encouraging teacher. I believe that we should not be harsh on a student when he or she commits a silly mistake. It is important to patiently explain to the students so as to avoid discouraging them. After explaining, I would keep in mind that mistake and pose a similar question to the student in future to ensure that he or she does not commit the same mistake again.

          Furthermore, I also believe that it is important to encourage a student by praising he or she when they have completed a difficult question or task. This will motivate them to work even harder and earn more recognition for the efforts.
