Although I excel academically I understand that not all children do, and I am very patient especially with lower ability students.

Top student from JC who decided not to pursue university studies and instead pursue a career. My passion for learning and teaching has remained. I excel at efficient study methods to tackle exams, as well as cultivating students' interest in the subject.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: With family members still in the school system, I keep myself updated with any change in their syllabi. I utilize ten year series exam papers, and I also review the students' relevant texts on a regular basis.

As a Good Tutor: I think it is important to impart content knowledge as well as good exam skills. I enjoy learning and I hope to impart the joy of learning and the appreciation of each subject to my students. However, I also ensure that they are able to score high marks in exams by analyzing their weaknesses and how they can increase efficiency and marks during exam.

Patience is also important as not all students can grasp concepts immediately. I explain concepts and revise basic skills to build a strong foundation. I always try to show the students the correct techniques, rather than telling them, to improve their understanding.

I take a lot of pride in my work and I want to see every student achieve their potential.

Tuition/Teaching Experience: Currently I have close to 2 years of teaching experience and have 14 students on hand. As shown, almost all of them have shown significant improvement in their studies. I have a p5 student who improved from 60 plus to 98 for her maths. I have another p4 student who always fail in his maths, he managed to top class for last year EOY exams. I have another p6 student students who shown tremendous improvement in her maths(she has never pass maths before and she managed to pass with an additional of 11 marks compared to her previous score). For this same student, she managed to top the class for science as well. I have another sec 1 student who never pass his comprehension. After 2-3 months of tuition, he managed to pass his comprehension and obtain one of the top few for months.
