I'm a teacher/student who truly believes in hard work and passion. As long as these two are present, it is always possible for a student to excel. There have been instances where I have even given free extra lessons to a student who was hard working and had a goal in mind. I have previously taught one Primary 6 student Science and she had tremendously improved. She attained an A for her PSLE science. I have also given tuition for Secondary school students.
I am currently studying Chemical and biomolecular engineering in NUS, year 2. Tuition schedules can be discussed further.

I am able to start asap and i can commit till the end of this year. I am available on both weekends and weekdays after 6pm.
Rapport Building
With adequate communication with the students' parents after classes, parents could be well-informed and aware of their child's current academic caliber and progress. I will also recommend parents the appropriate materials that their child shall receive if necessary. Parents can feel free to update me their child's difficulty if any and we would tackle the issue together.

I will adopt a reward approach for students who have shown improvements and as a form of encouragement and drive motivation in them. Students can also feel at ease to talk to me after class if they encounter any problem whether in work or outside academic boundary. It will be good to extend a tutee-tutor relationship to a mentee-mentor where I could guide them too.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
i will revise the syllabus once every year with the MOE teaching curriculum to keep myself updated and equipped with the necessary topics.
As a Good Tutor
I believe every tutor must possess the qualities of being patient to each and every student and to administer an individual approach to them. Being knowledgeable in the area of teaching is an essential aspect to enable students to receive the proper understanding of the subjects and concepts too.

I am good at explaining complicated theories by using metaphors, which makes the conceptualisation more vivid and easier to remember.
