        I have only tutored my cousins in their secondary 3 and 4 years, tutored them in History, Social Studies and Elementary Mathematics where they eventually did well and scored an A. I wouldn't say for sure that I am experienced, but definitely I'll do my best to help your child improve his/her grades. For humanities subjects, I'll be focusing on SBQ and SEQ answering skills for history and social studies and teaching them to understand the content rather than resort to memorizing. For math, understanding the concepts and the steps is most important in doing well for the subject.

        I have 2 years tutoring experience in English and Maths for primary level. One of my past students was a P4 girl with a weak foundation in Math. I helped her strengthen her understanding of P4 concepts, and she transitioned smoothly into P5.

        This, to me, is crucial in learning Math - building a strong foundation. After that comes constant revision. Before long, doing Math is no longer a chore - in fact, it motivates you, because you have proven to yourself that you can do it.

        For English, I take an immersive approach to improving - through reading (silent and aloud), listening, speaking, and engaging in discussions. Worksheets and tests can also be effective, however, they are secondary in the learning process.

        Ultimately, I aim to make learning engaging, interactive, and fun!
