Rapport Building: I always start my first lesson earlier than the given time to interact with parents about the syllabus, the way of teaching as well as to understand more about the children before i start. The latter is due to familiar (at least a bit) with the student to have the class more active. I do prefer to meet parent every time after the lesson, to update them about their kids' performance of the day. Regarding students wise, different students different method. But I do believe that no fixed way to teach until you see the student.

Rapport Building: I try to understand my students' expectations of me. I will advise my students to set goals and encourage them to realize that goal to be where they would like to be. I will try to plan out the steps towards their goal using small, yet achievable steps that can generate a sense of achievement and keep the motivation going. To me, it is important to let my students feel and know that they are not alone in this journey and that we as teachers will always be supporting them. Hand-in-hand, we work together, towards our common goal.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I am very familiar with the O Level Biology syllabus as I have been teaching students O Level Biology recently. I am also quite familiar with the A Level Biology syllabus as I have recently graduated from Junior College and more importantly, I can pick up new content easily as I have a strong foundation in Biology.

I am very familiar with the JLPT syllabus as I have taken the N4, N3, N2 and N1 exams on consecutive years, with the N1 taken less than a year ago.

I am in touch with Yang Qin and I practice it during my spare time.

As a Good Tutor: Following in the footsteps of my teachers who groomed me well in biology, I believe that good tutors must be dedicated and committed. This means that the tutor must have the passion to teach and must want the student to excel as much as the student wants to. Good tutors do not give up on their students. They brave the storms together with their students, hand-in-hand, towards a brighter tomorrow. I believe that a good tutor is a person who is receptive to and enthusiastic about learning.
