    I personally love how math and science teach me about the world around and I hope to inspire the same passion in my students, learning not for the sake of exams. I do not have any official teaching experience but as my JC class' CT representative, I started a group studying system in which my classmates and I were able to help each other in our weaker areas. It proved to be effective as we all saw improvements in our grades and also gave me ample opportunity to experience teaching my peers who were weaker in the Mathematics and Sciences.

    I understand the stresses of modern school life and will be able to connect with students on that. I love giving advice on how to cope with daily school life, not limited to the subjects I am teaching, but of course only if the student asks for it. I will always communicate with parents on how they think their child is doing in school and update them on their child's progress. I will also tell parents how students our age think and suggest ways in which they can connect and support their child to do their best.
    Keeping Up with Curriculum
    I will always base what I teach students on their own school notes. These notes will always contain all the necessary information a student needs during his exams. I will of course augment it with what I had learned in the past to ensure full and complete understanding.
    As a Good Tutor
    I will strive to follow the student's school curriculum and teach at the student's pace. As a result, I will not be recommending assessment books unless I see fit. Instead, I will encourage students to develop their own notes, in a way they understand best and in line with what they learn in school. I will also help students with homework they are unsure about. My principle when teaching students is not to provide them with answers but to guide their thought processes so they are able to reach the answers on their own.

      Currently as a part-time tuition teacher, I have developed the skill to connect with my student whereby with my cheerful disposition and innovative teaching methods, the student is able to grasp the topic with much ease. A unique teaching method which I have devised is that I do not usually give the answers straight away to the student; I lead them to the answer where they themselves will be able to answer the question through my hints and through my delivery of the topic to them.
      I have been teaching tuition since I was in my second year of university, 2013, and my student has since aced her PSLE Science with a B (from a fail) and my Secondary one students have been doing well for their Mathematics subject, getting at least a 70% from a fail.
